I saw a glimpse of it; beneath the bolting ice, even a sleepy daffodil wakes when the sun drills thru its winter casket, i heard the notes of familiarty, they may have been sealed within the sea you rolled out for me, enjoying the splash at the entry steps, my toes curled delightfully upon the first introduction, stretching my stance when you felt me familiar, and started to widen for me, still taking baby steps, never wanting to shift the calm of the symmetry, as i noticed the waves would grow grim if i started to sprint too fast, so all is just tranquil now, and i'll coast at the shallow end, enjoying the tide trinkets as the bartering for your own hesitations, and so we can dance, some time when our shadows meet and leave the tsunami waves to the more daring ones. I never quite know how to respond to your poetry. It's loveliness stuns me. I like the reflection and peaceful tempo. (to the library to peak at when having a fast paced day!) miscellanea |

"beneath the bolting ice, even a sleepy daffodil wakes when the sun drills thru its winter casket" Loved that verse... always great to read what you write. "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |

Golly goldielocks, love the splash and tranquility. You gotta watch out for those riptides though, if you don't swim sideways they'll pull you down before you have a chance to catch your breath. Excellent poem, Michele~ |
