Amore Phobia #4

Love to me is a storm
It comes in strong and fast
With out warning
And when it is over
It leaves devastation

How can I love again?
When I’m still picking up
Each one of those moments
I continually find
Hidden in a corner

And like all real bad storms
I’ll take shelter somewhere
Behind walls of concrete
That I built my self
Until the storm passes

Boy can I relate to this poem, and have built many a wall myself, only to realize not only did it keep them out, but it also kept me in.

Nicely done, and unfortunately all to familiar for many I think.

Walls don't last....one push from the right direction, and down they come! Build inner self and inner strength...that's what to do with all that concrete and re-bar.....so the waves can pile on, and you don't have to hide from them.
