A true wonder of a rose, dear Marge. I have never seen any like this one.
And your words accompany her beauty perfectly!

Love and hugs.

Marge, this is absolutely beautiful. I have never seen a blue rose before. I would love to have blue roses in my yard. How about red, white and blue.

My Friends~
I certainly didn't intend to mislead anyone into believing that I grew this particular rose~

Bill and I have currently around 25 rose bushes in our yard ... how I WISH this one was among them~
This lovely blue bloom was a *gift* from a friend across the sea ... and yes, blue roses are in fact ... BLUE !!

Here is a wonderful link where you can read up on the horticultural event that was publicized last May~

Thank you all so much for letting me know that you enjoy my poetic paint~

Blue.....what is there about that color....the most amazing things come through as blue to me! It seems to be the color of intention, the plan of things that exists apart from us. Over the years I've learned that for me, when I remember blue in something that isn't blue, there was more involved than chance.
