~*~

Haunting is the moment that I stood amidst the fog
Looking in upon the private solarium of a dreamer
Sensing a traumatized verse that bounced in alto beams
Palpitates within the air that lifted up my fingertips
Causing in emotive voice the drifting wishes hidden to be heard

Distrustful fetishes of wing and wild fire flared the night
Fever came to boil the blood that transpired to steam on the surface
Coursing like rivers of red and blue mingling, turning water dark
This fear, a portrait etched on pasty white, as color drained your smile
I felt it too, across the flanks of my desire to be near

Then stars blinked out these tears to twilight
And when I realized the impact of my hand upon your heart
It was then I knew my place was destined as beacon and bond
For Archer, draw your bow, without care to be healed
It was the sculpture of the dream that sought a sigh to alter

And I am never lost within the wind, for here I stand still looking in
