The words depict in monotone
what I percieve a symphony.
Stick figures in a childs' hand,
what I see three dimensionally.
They have no depth, their tone is flat,
oblivious to what is true
as if predestined that should fail,
in trying to get a message through.
No vibrance, even black and white,
appears a faded shade of gray
while I am faced with rainbow hues
a truly radiant display.
They stare back with a listlessness
indifferent to my wants and cares.
It seems, as far as they're concerned,
a million miles away from where
I'd have them be's where they'll remain,
preferring to drive me insane.
