Sitting Alone as Darkness Falls Staring As My Shadow Slowly Fades To A Place Were You Once Stood Dancing To The Silent Whisper Of Warm Candlelight Recalling The Times When We Were Together Happier Times Full Of Laughter And Smiles Holding Hands, Touching lips As The Rain Silently Fell Around Us Making Love Under The Stars, Showing The Angels The Love We Shared I Laid Rose Petals To The Bedroom Lit Candles For The Romance Of A Midnight Bathe Holding So Gentle We Felt Our Hearts Embrace Even Dancing To Love Songs Under The Midday Sun The Little Things That Made Us Smile You Used To Say, Together Forever, Our Hearts Are One, Soul Mates I Still To This Day Don’t Know What Went Wrong I Still Remember The Night You Left You Left Without Saying Goodbye What Did I Do, Or Say Cause I Am Nothing Without You Guess I Am Now Lost, Lost Forever |

WOW, Yogi, this was amazing! Reading your words...my mind went to a place of remembering for me. So many things in your poem struck a cord with me...a longing in my heart for the love I lost. Like you...I think it is gone forever, but maybe one day God will see fit to give us both another shot. Startime is right...just need to give it to the right person...someone that deserves that kind of love and won't abuse it. Take care...Becka |
