Into Depths Of The Sea

This was written for a challenge on another site
it had to be about how "One can not see clearly while living within or beneath the sea"

Into Depths Of The Sea

Sea spray stung my eyes
For I could see no more
Heart sinking into oblivion
As I wept by the shore

My heart was falling apart
For no more could I see
Awash in waves of sorrow
To the depths of the sea

Could see nothing in sight
Lonely heart had no view
In the darkest depth below
I sank in the ocean blue

Eyes closed as I drowned
Into a dark watery grave
Hoping they remembered
For the love that I gave

Well I think it would be a safe bet that the challenger was impressed with how you rose to the poetic task at hand!
