i know of a girl do u know of her too? she seems quite strong so no one has a clue she's weak inside cold hearltess she can't breath at times almost like she's choking i watch her everyday and it amazes me how no one sees i can't stop thinking about her and of all the pain, that seems to be i use to admire her with all her smiles and laughs but then i looked deeper and relized she was wearing a mask her smiles are frowns, her laughs - silent cries her friendships are weak, but they seem to last her family - all blinded by the mask i once knew but now i see the sad horrible truth not beauty or joy only sorrow pain and a deep darkness its saddens me, just to watch her in pain so i try to get closer, try to see her beauty again i start to approach her, with a friendly smile i want to help her, but dont know how i call out her name, to get her attention but she won't answer so i get closer, to see her face to face but she's ignoring me, looking towards the sky i catch a glimpse of her once beautiful brown eyes and then at that moment i came to realize the girl we've been speaking of, the one thats sad - is nothing like me but we are one and the same please someone explain why i was so blinded to see.... Trina, it is human nature to own several maskes, we simply have to learn to control the negative ones...mind over matter.... this was wonderfully penned and a perfect example of what we inherit, does not have to be.... Hugs to you |
