Calm After The Storm Here upon a winter day The storm is moving in I heard a fued in the sky Where both want to win Thunder and lightening Both start there attack Grey clouds are drifting The sky is almost black Thunder began roaring With loud furious scorn Shredded by lightening Black clouds were torn The storm clouds open As down came the rain Thunder lowly mumbles Silver streaked disdain Last streak of lightening Flashed across the sky Then the fued was over Thunder roars goodbye The calm after the storm Rainbow above to view Bright blue sky returned The sun peeking through HopeĀ©2005 with graphic and music below www.thestarlitecafe.com/p...46970.html |

Your writing was so descriptive that I could almost smell the ozone in the air! A stirring ~ and then calming ~ piece of poetry! Love & Sky Light, Linda |

Thanks ever so much for your reply ....yes we have had a couple of storms the past week here and the thunder and lightening always seem to be having a raging battle , but wonderful to see the rainbow afterwards Hope |
