Gently, winds caress in a wandering
walk...or, was that my lips touching
yours?

Lingering, the shift of a curtains fall,
holding close the sill as a stream of
brilliance rises from the floor.

Will you remain, will you grace my
soul as I sleep in restlessness?
Can my whisper lightly touch an
ear?  Can I, can we....

The waltz, drifting across a still
pond, rippling the night air...
Wanting to absorb the pomp as
pageantry ploys...and perfection
pauses...passionately.

You know, yes...this I know and
as each sun rises before the morning
moon...I wake to the dampness of
one lingering, delicately given,
pause of a kiss....and I smile...
Before a dream trembles the
reed of water’s edge...once
more.

Sigh, dear Barry, you don't know how widely the ripples caused by the beauty of your  words expanded within my heart.

It's delicate, yet passionately romantic in the same moment.

Love it!

Love, Margherita

Magnus~
You employ poetic softness so very, very effectively~
I 'felt' that morning kiss~

Barry, I could read your love poems all day long! ~ and then dream of them all night long!

Thank you again for gently blowing some of your magnolia charm up this way!

How heavenly.  Sorry, no criticism here.  It was lovely...and truly romantic.  You hold the kiss of a lover in your hand, my friend.  I loved this poem.

Barry....

this is so soft and written with much heart....good to see ya Sir..

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.
