Our children are so innocent
The way they see reality ~
What they say is what is meant..
They don't play adult duality.

So, "Out of the mouths of babes",
The innocents will question...
The way that grown-ups behave
And why they have such tension.

A child's life is not complex
We should all be more at ease
One lives life as one elects..
Heaven belongs to such as these.

Yes, well said!  The honesty of the innocent is something to treasure but I guess we train it out of our children for the sake of good manners.

Nancy

Children are wonderful, and it's good that so many are able to keep the child inside them alive, like you seem to.

Bramisio!!!!

children are more then people, they're our responsiblity...our blood line, our future, and we ought to leave this a better place, for them.

I love their honesty...and have been reminded all over again, that innocence from my grand daughter.

Lovely write!
thank you!

A child's innocence is just that, so innocent and pure,
until someone lets the dogs out!!!!
Love this Nancy,  and the picture you posted to go with it.

There is a soft and gentle innocence with small children.  Good for you for reminding us and highlighting it with a neat picture.  Hugs KJ

Well said. What hurts is when their innocence is ruined by the adults who are so confused. I see it too often. This is a good reminder to let them have the opportunity to treasure the innocence.
