What am I supposed to do...
The memories don't stop coming
But then again,
The anger comes stronger
I thought I knew who you were
Now come to find,
You stand against everything I have ever stood for
You've always made me feel
Lower than you
Made me feel pitiful
Doubt always crept into my mind around you
Cause I was always looking down on myself
The words that you said, sometimes weren't things friends would say
You were oblivious to the pain I was invisibly feeling
Though some would have picked up on it...
You never did
Now I'm looking back on all our friendliest days
Seeing nothing right with this 2 plus 2 equation
Because 2 and 2 are equal
But when we are together
I feel nothing like a two
But much more like a 0
While you are far ahead
Leading the way with a bright number 10

people that need to put others down to make themselves feel superior, are just sad...you don't need anyone like that, and that certainly isn't the kind of friend you should have... sorry you are hurting, I hope this realization of yours leads you to true friends...

it's good that you're looking back on this, and not still trying to look ahead through it.
full of insight.

the math sometimes.. doesn't add up... subtraction then can indeed make a positive from the negative..

clever..by the way..the bright 10...

been a long time since I've seen your words.. nice to do so now.. though they indeed carry a sad message..

They aren't wearing a bright 10....you missed the negative sign before the number..

They are the one lacking.  Stay away from them.

Wonderfully written.

its so refreshing to see a younger person, so full of wisdom and yet, care for herself, and her choices...the strength of this glows, as does your picture and words...happy that you have seen realistically what is, and not what is not there.  Hugs to ya...
