I got my eyes on the prize
but I'm hypnotized
by the lies
I provide
and wonder why
my life
seems to die

and fade
nothing but rain
on my parade
so I wait
pride at stake
as I awake
to find my fate
a mistake

given the chance
to advance
I surpass
my past
and realize at last
that the future comes fast

so I begin
at the end
clear my sins
ready to win
realize again
that I'M significant

and this is my life
