I hate feeling cold and wet,

Please make it stop or better yet, take me away.

No one will hear us or see us.I promise to only stay awhile.

Do you hear the rain?Dripping and lingering.

I would love to stay, but I promised to stay only a
little while.

Do you see the sun?Is it shining or is that a distant light from a house that has become a home.

I'm leaving now because I promised not to stay to long.

A lot of emotions flowing within this poem,
and some similarities to a poetess who
resides here....Both do excellently....
Like this write, the thoughts...somewhat
ironic at the end...leaving because could
only stay a little while. But hey, I have
written that myself...
