It's raining here today...
In my mind, I hear the ocean waves collide
and it soothes me
I settle into those thoughts
and remember what it feels like
to loose myself
while knowing
exactly who I am

there is comfort here
in those familiar sounds
that remind me
with eyes closed direction

I just have to hear your voice
and I know my way home

Yes, and it is the softest voice that can lead the way home.

Happy home-coming!

and i shall make my home
where your voice is
where those mountains
touch the sky of you

where that ocean
is the woman of you
writhing my willing shore

God, Susan, I adore this:

and remember what it feels like
to loose myself
while knowing
exactly who I am

I need to GET BACK there.

I LOVE the last 2 lines to this poem.  They made me think of Dave and smile.  I will have to give him the biggest hug tonight when he gets home and blame it on you
