My heart strobes to meet and greet you In a way exalted all we’ve been through In the way that I have seen you be Jocularity masks a moody melody What you seem to think is clear falls pitter-patter here In the soft scents of gentle May rain Undisguised it lifts us from such pain And yes, it hurts to breech heartfelt tessellations Seemingly unwanted in the sea of vast vibrations Yet the shore stands immortal to the crest A trust has thrived unfaltering from East to West Though I may speak my peace, in tune and time immune Still hold you close and dream of Aspens hoping soon The tiny place you’ve given grace that nestles me Once paralyzed repairs revised as dawn to comment happily A firefly bespeaks the rye and warms in turns it’s home A flicker lights the places where you left me room to roam In peek-a-boo emotions that I thought were cast to fail Only to be hide-and-seek, the found light does prevail Copyright Kkh 05/14/05 |

Yet the shore stands immortal to the crest It does, doesn't it? You have such a gift of descriptiveness. Nicely done, and tesselations was an added gift, though the dictionary assisted me just a bit...smarty! |
