this is written for my mom with respect even though she was never there~ I often wondered about the day when i would face her oh what would i say feelings have been good mostly bad most memories with her make me sad i never had what most children see no one can understand her especially the one who is suppose to always be there wipe a tear help comb your hair help you with your discovery with boys not allow them to touch and brake like one of their toys always love and protect you not lie about to cover their wrongs that they do feelings that were never accepted keeping dependent by love rejected some times i pretend theres another i do forgive her she is my mother you grow up with many mixed feelings needing someone to help with lifes dealings then wishing for what you dont have today yet never expecting to get it no matter what price you pay learning what you want isnt always what you need whats given in life may only look like a weed never blame another for what you lack even if when in life they did turn their back for the day may come that one needs from you what you cant give thats when you understand how hard life is to live no one knows what life was handed to them as no one knows what hand life dealt to you so as a parent you could only do and give what you knew be it good or be it bad its hard to make one happy when one is sad so many generations have felt the pain so many still searching yet empty they remain for whats missing and whats not given feelings, trust, love acceptance, nurture, encouragement approval, support, respect for living here i sit sad for what i missed i forgive her and love her more today maybe someday she canforgive and accept others love all family gods way we only have one mother never another so protect as a mother should wipe a tear hold a hand support if any should fall for love is sacred a souls cry and the sound of a broken heart a spirits call tearfull memories lies divide us and shame keeps from standing tall My spirit will rise |

MGROVES You covered the subject very well. But mothers were subjected to mothers and I can't say weather you would be beter off by her influence or not. Each of us does the best they can. |

better not then but later stronger independent understanding forgiving opposite of what i was given like choices i could become as her and my brothers and sisters still codependents and alcoholics and drug addicts behaving as children playing her and dad for attention never venturing far from home and having them pay for what they should be responsible for. never learning to fly and have own life own thoughts own feelings own responsibilites i am black sheep for being independent and going to school and moving away and not getting into their negitivity My spirit will rise |

"i am black sheep for being independent and going to school and moving away and not getting into their negativity" ~ ~ Cheers to you for being the "black sheep" in your family! That took a great deal of inner strength and self-motivation. Everybody gains when one has a forgiving heart such as yours, Dear One! Love & Inner Light, Linda |
