The mighty beasts fly above the angry sea. An empty hollow look encompasses each and everyone of them. Where are they are going? If the old saying is true then they are flying to their death. I thought only humans had that power to do self-harm. I also thought the good always prevailed, so as you can see I am no accurate soothsayer. Flapping aimlessly, Circling to and fro, It seems their date with the mysterious world has ended rather abruptly. Though in fairness they do not seem to care. I guess when you have seen the eye of a hurricane and it’s before and after effect, your outlook does become rather bleak. You would have thought after surviving the ordeal these winged creatures would be thankful to be alive – but once you have seen death in all its sinister glory, the life you have lead becomes contorted and twisted with little hope. A huge wave of sadness engulfs these beautiful animals, for now they are at peace. |
