Save me from this endless circle.
Living paycheck to paycheck, my checkbooks
    a blurr.

I lost myself last year and had to change
    my lifestyle.
     Now, making considerable less,
    my bills continue to pile.

After thirty years I decided to chance
    a different path.
Giving it a full year I'm taking a bath.

Why can't I have financial security without
missing the sunshine and weekend fun?
I want to see the months end oweing none.

I ask myself what is more important to me?
Always in the red, but having daylight
     hours, sunshine, family life and
    weekends free?

Or go back making more money than
I can spend, but missing out on life and
     jeopardizing my health once again?

I just can't seem to find my way.
I tried white, than black, and all
     I get is grey.

I want the road down the middle, a bit
     of each.
I'm tring desperately to make it
     within my reach.

I'm running out of patience and valuable time.
I pray soon both peace of mind with
money matters and health, enjoying life
     and happiness will entwine.

    my

You know Julia, you have just described exactly how I feel.  That is why I started buying the lottery every week LOL.

I cannot do this forever . . . be proud of yourself . . . it's a tough job, your brother will tell you the same thing.

Yep!

Never forget that what you've been doing for the last couple decades, is the hardest job anyone can have...making a home for your daughters...on your own, without a net.

You've done that well, sistermine! Just look at the results! You should, indeed, be proud!

But again, just having some time for yourself....with no worries?
A treat!

nodding

This does remind me of those exercize wheels in gerbil cages. (Myself, I find they make a nice cradle to rock myself gently to sleep.)

Your frustration is painful to read from such a gentle soul, 'cause I have this feeling all you really wanted was the picket fence dream too.

I wish I had answers lovie, but for now I can only off the meager cyberhug.

and a prayer, with your kind permission.
