I Hope Your Promise Comes True

All I keep hearing you say
Was I will talk to you soon
So had dreams lost there glow
Have they faded with the moon

Whatever could you mean
The suspense is killing me
I will talk to you soon, you say
Still I wonder when that will be

I suppose I am left to guess
If the truth is being disguised
Love could be blinding my view
Whenever soon is emphasized

Silence had told me nothing
Yet I missed talking with you
Soon is the word you repeated
I hope your promise comes true

I always wonder Hope why people if they want to split just do it.

My sister used to keep making dates with people and standing them up so they didn't know if she didn't want to and was playing hard to get.

Eventually my brother who was living at home would have to tell them.

You either want to be with someone or not, but playing silly devils in an ego trip, nothing more.

I enjoyed reading this so much, sadly "soon" has been a long time gone.

Reminds me of the words to a song,

"All the words that we say and the words that we mean,
but words can fall short, can't see the unseen"
