A pisces, a leo and a tainted goddess

Spring staggers down the aisle
in her self refurbished crown,
she shakes the wilted bloom
of autumn's long gone flowers,
glances back to throw a coyful smile
upon the the eyes of her november lover,
who sends off, unknowingly
back into the shadows of another,

one retreats and one now carries
both the promise and the power
to deliver more than hollow flowers,
in these starcrossed scriptings
of the somewhat tainted,
but forever hopeful goddess.
