In Distinctive Hues silver paints the winter sky a jeweled chill sparkling diamonds tinting lakes in its likeness a mirror of cool, iciness and I watch from a warmth of brown cozy as a grizzly or a joey at naptime~ a touch of mocha coating me the contrast is breathtaking the brisk chill of silver the fuzzy warmth of brown home amid the season’s chill sheltered that I may enjoy its beauty ©January 7, 2005 Winter’s Savor coarse sea salt appears to dress each surface crystalline stars, lacy diamonds cling to the chill of this morning extremely fine “sodium chloride” seems to be seasoning our world giving it a cool, crisp flavor easy to appreciate this side of the glass ©January 8, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
