So shyly
Under the late autumn moon
We’ll take center stage
Together walk upon the floor

Hand in hand
Move as we had before
With others in better years

And just perhaps
If we do it well
Some cherub’s lips will smile

While we become
Just once more young again

Who knows what may happen then

A small smile creeps my lips.  I loved this poem...as I do all of your works.  You are nothing short of brilliant.

Thanks all.

Please, if you get the opportunity, listen
to Aaron Copland’s “Saturday Night Waltz”
from “Rodeo”.

Thanks again.

John

Who knows... indeed. *S* Miracles aren't exclusive property of the young in years. *S* Beautiful!!!

Amazing.  You are a poet's real inspiraition my friend.  I loved every bit of this poem.  As you can see...I had to respond twice, for I am in this mine shaft of a high school and I needed your poem to bring me back to my earth.  Thank you.

Yes....that's the word, just yes. Perhaps then, perhaps it will.
