nearly capsized, again

struggling to breathe
within life’s tempestuous storm cycles

as wave after wave of travails
wash over me

but I rise to ride the crest

(not being one to be swallowed up by despair)

I care too much some days,

become part of the drowning deluge,
caught within a capricious sea
of anger, despair, sadness, loneliness

but I shall re-surface

for I am familiar with
the physics
of treading water

and can wait
for the right wave

Awesome thoughts. Enjoyed. Hugs!!
