And a kiss but of clouds that brushed the sky to cover the naked breast of moon who had the moment before stood naked in front of me showing the round of full milk that leaked itself onto the black She has covered herself before the sun had his eyes above the rim of her bed and was to see too much instead she lay in a gauze of woven dreams protecting modesty of those who on sunday went to church and prayed that they might be whole some unable to understand through their own fog that flesh does not sin nor does the act of love become the key to hell when she in a swell of belly would give birth yet to the way spring seeps into earth slowly warm Too then there are the stars that would sing in mass the psalms of sentances too great for us to hold within the confines of our ears that we might breach the black and touch should we burn? or would the end of passing night bring us to the soul where we might lay inside the flesh contented to the prelude of another passing morn |

that they might be whole some unable to understand through their own fog that flesh does not sin nor does the act of love become the key to hell when she in a swell of belly would give birth yet to the way spring seeps into earth slowly warm *********************************** i love the way you look up and see |

"Too then there are the stars that would sing in mass the psalms of sentances too great for us to hold within the confines of our ears that we might breach the black and touch" Even if we could hear what they say, I believe we would be unable to comprehend the meaning, and in a way, I have no desire to do so. Some things should remain mysterious, imo very well done, Cpat ----------ice/ford ><> |

I ask in advance - Forgive me, I have returned to your poem time and time again to soak in the words. So many beautiful visions, but there remains a meaning that keeps playing in my mind, inspired from your poem… that of Mary carrying Christ.. the struggles that she had to face.. and the glory that He brings… Most likely I am not on the correct path with these thoughts, but my reply is with the best of intentions and sincere enjoyment of your poem… |

I think I like the way Aleta looked into your poem... and that alone is the wonder of you, and your ways of leaving the fullness behind. |

Tremendous write, Cpat! I couldn't tell you how this affected me if I spent a half-hour trying to put it into words! I enjoyed Aleta's interpretation, as well. miscellanea |

many thanks to all of you...for the time taken to read, and then to leave your words of encouragement ... obviously, I haven't haunted these halls much of late..and apologies..to all the wonderful poets I have read, when I can, and not taken the time myself to leave a few words.. so to everyone..I say.. thank you |

Too then there are the stars that would sing in mass the psalms of sentances too great for us to hold within the confines of our ears that we might breach the black and touch perhaps they hold different meanings for different ears? Excellent work...amazing |
