I have read them all in their entirety, Wondered about the two paths that diverged into one ...then I read me... I have gazed at the chapel wall in awe of the inspiring colors that dripped from the brush of Michael Angelo ...and I, my colors so abstract... I have listened to Dillon sing -about women, and how they break like little girls Greater still the woman in me, and the girl that is gone I have studied Gibran and the flow of his thoughts lost myself in his shadow ...and I realize... I am not just one medium, my canvas was created with them all I am a masterpeice, an illusion of my own experienced destruction Tima Chavis Cooke ©2005 It's funny now that I can't remember the pain that it took to find happiness... |

Powerful ponderings. And I agree with your conclusions. We are that! Love, Margherita |

I like your words but in fairness to Dillon it wasn't "they break like little girls" it was if my memory serves me "and she breaks down like a little girl" Dave |

I looked on several lyrics sites for Bob Dylan, they all say "she breaks just like a little girl" |

I loved this read. Absolute beauty. I can see that you have many facets to the masterpiece that is your personality. I'm glad that you shared a few of them with us. Yv-Goddess of Her Domain. Symbol of Truth Passion Pain. Let Her Smile Rain on the Hearts of the Innocent. |

In its original text from the album "Compilation, Bob Dylans Greatest Hits,1967" "Queen Mary, she's my friend Yes, I believe I'll go see her again Nobody has to guess That Baby can't be blessed Till she sees finally that she's like all the rest With her fog, her amphetamine and her pearls. She takes just like a woman, yes, she does She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does And she aches just like a woman But she breaks just like a little girl." |

Got technical and all, and forgot to say.... the name Dillon is spelled wrong, but... because a friend got me to listening to him years ago, and it wasnt until I bought an album from the record store that I realized that I had spelled his name wrong. This poem was written before I knew the correct spelling.... And? Thank you all for the kind replies... and nice to see ya Dixie Girl..... Tima |

good to see you too Tima. I know you haven't had much time because of all that is going on in your life, but I love to read you when you're here |
