Present The present is a misty mime It’s neither past nor future time But stays within the realm of now In essence it’s a holy cow I cannot stand on either one The first gone the other not done In other words I walk a mist That passes yet does not exist I do not understand the form Yet I was born and it’s the norm It worries me and plagues my mind There seems no answer I can find It is the alter of my seem It is my life yet seems a dream It tells me I do not exist Except in time within a mist Before complete and bittersweet A mist that forms the obsolete |
