so this is my life
it's late
and i'm lonely
these goosebumps on my arm don't help
the tea by my bed doesn't help
the makeup on my face just washes down the sink
and i'm,
i'm still lonely
so tell me,
what will help?

warm arms around my body
will they help?
long conversations through the night till morning
will this help?

it feels like i'm the only person alive
and everyone else is asleep
sometimes they wakeup
and we're both together
in my reality
but most times
it's just me,
lonely

sometimes,
sometimes i listen to the radio at night
when i'm lonely
because i figure
there's always someone on the other side

so this is my life

you express yourself well~

i too have been feeling lonely lately,
yet at same time enjoy the time alone,
alone really hurts when with someone. i left that lonely~
shouldnt ever feel all alone,you have touched many hearts, and have friends you dont even know. spending time with you as they ride these pages of blue. hope you feel less lonely soon, as god and others are always around you,

I've been looking at the value of being alone
not as a time of being rejected, but rather,
accepted by larger than life avenues of
awareness, and being given the time to reflect
on what is around me.

Age probably brings that on...

Alone time to some is a precious commodity.I know that you may find that hard to believe now and I feel for you. I love to use that time reading,writing to friends,working in the yard. Others find more ways to use that time. You can write beautifully. Keep at it. best, marty
