I strain to hear
the sounds of still;

the center, the core
of all that I feel.
I continue pushing past
the fear and the pain

allowing myself
this dance in the rain

that gently cleanses
the hold of this plague
soothing      and calming
the inner rage.

Finding inside
a balance,   a key
that unlocks the door
of my      mystery.

Tap, tap    t a p p i n g
the exterior;
digging deeper
searching for more,

listening quietly
now, and until
silence is heard...

in seek of still.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

"In seek of still"...  I see a blue canvas with a wisp of white.  I really like your introspective writing!  You write so well with apparent ease.

Then I shall consider myself lucky, being that I am tapped out.

And the stillness is all there is, and not so bad after all~

Hugs, Donna~
