Every movement brings out the sense of you, leaving behind the pull of want. Yet within lies a strangeness, a cold that expectations caress, edging the view in a haziness, my hands grasping but finding a sometime emptiness. Tell me I am beautiful, and I will believe, if the kiss composes a song of love, a rhythm of sway to fit the mood, and the touch builds that fire of warmth to ease the chill. The many voices talk to me, some louder than others, ignoring most to search out acceptance. Dress me down in "the mirror of time", know me, the real me and my heart will become yours. Stripping all the fabric of defence built up over the years leaves unknowning because the self is there but protected by everything it takes to protect it Pared back to the soul leaves you vunerable unprotected and having to build up that protection again Your word are excellent and I think, couragous Dave |
