The Angels Sing By Paul Wilson The angels came quietly through the open window on a gentle breeze and sang him softly to sleep Standing at Heavens Gate Jesus embraces him as he kneels and prays for those still here that now weep Looking at Jesus John Paul ask why do they cry? they should be happy...today I have touched the light Their tears should be shed for the souls that are still lost not for me, Gods Angels sang me home softly tonight Come Jesus said...sit with me awhile on the stone that entombed me on the day I was crucified You have done well...rejoice and receive the gift of eternal life promised to you the day I died You have walked the path laid out before you by God never straying from your appointed destiny Now you sit with me at the feet of thy father as the faithful watch your funeral on T.V. Follow me John Paul through the gates of Heaven together we will embrace thy father as one Those that came before you await your arrival as those still here on earth remember all you've done A simple wooden box holds your earthly body as your spirit lives forever through God and me Bells of Saint Peters ring as you are laid to rest and I say too you...truly your spirit is free ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

"Bells of Saint Peters ring as you are laid to rest and I say too you...truly your spirit is free" Thank you for this Paul.. I am only one of millions who were up early today to watch and listen as the loved and tears flowed through the Vatican..and yes, throughout the world. Well said Sir...very well said. For it was not into my ear you whispered |
