Who Am I

Boy, she sure
threw me on the counter
and cut me open
to reveal who I am
on the inside.
Oh how sharp her knife,
it wasn't a pretty sight.
Now I have no illusions
of who I really am,
and I can't quite
go to sleep tonite.

Some people carry knives and some a candy bar but always it only matters what we ourselves see on the inside. We need to look though and then set about ensuring that we sleep well. Something like that I guess.
