Waiting I ravel. Time and distance hook little threads of lonely out of my soul’s garment. They curl and fall, litter the floor of my being, softly drift into the place in me that seeks a time when swirl and boil of world slows for us to just be. |

Wouldn't it be nice if, like the merry-go-round, time had a lever that we could stop with will. On no, now I'm going to have the lyrics going through my head 'til morning: What goes up must come down; spinning wheel has to go round--try to catch a painted pony ...
