Concerning Believing

I don't know what's bothering me,
   what's keeping me from feeling...

                       close to her.

Maybe I don't believe that she
                        loves me.

Maybe I don't believe that
                         I love her.

And then I started thinking,
I'm the kind of person that
  wants the woman I care about
   to be close to me, so I can
    look into her eyes, hold her
     hand, and kiss her precious lips.

In essence, I want her close enough
to touch, for when she is that close,
  it is so much easier for me to believe.
