i'm aware of this life i lead
because i breathe every second
of every hour
of every day
and i sing my song like there's no tomorrow
but that's all there ever is
tomorrow
tomorrow
i was always the one
the one worth loving
the one worth leaving
but i was never one.
if i could sing these words
to your
ears
so you could hear
my soul and tell me that it's real
then maybe
tomorrow would come today
and i wouldn't have to wait so long
to know what it feels like to be
one.
