On my hands and knees to see a waterfall touching minute stones cascading wearing stone Only a foot across fresh water running over gravel taken surface from hardened subjects to spread onto small birthing elements Pure running diving trickling touch Captured in an instant Destroyed by the capture Recreated in another self determined path That again flows pure and free And like some radio preacher A reader would feel that I am now going to launch a sermon And yes I will Don’t take a woman for an image Don’t treat her as something you own Don’t mistake love for your own fears as you run frightened Don’t miss the good times because you fear to say you have lost the ability to know them Take what is offered in honesty Treat it with grace Take what is offered in desire And treat it with respect In your life Bitter Creek sometimes become pain and struggle to be best forgotten Sometimes a river of inches far too wide A fresh rain brings water that runs over pebbles cascading in a pure force pushing those little pieces of gravel that irritate Nice to be alive isn’t it. Don’t take a woman for an image Don’t treat her as something you own ~*~ Yes...like a waterfall, expect the unexpected... that is how the water creates canyons... |
