With A Smile

There is an impatience about me
when the touch of you escapes mine
for too long a time.

When I try to remember the feeling of
lips to lips and the stretching
of arms surrounding
to contain the warm thoughts.

Spring is here and with it
the "internal storming",
awaiting the time changes
to lengthen the evenings
when memories can be made.

You are always there
in the background of my mind
tormenting my daily thoughts
but always leaving me with a ~smile~.

warm little thoughts, like the origin of life
waxed in a pond of ripples...

this one touches the heartstrings...
or is it me, feeling deeply inspirational this morning...
