A Dream I walked upon a dreamer’s path The burning coals of aftermath Memories so full of filigree Stored so deep the heart of me The pale horse wings its way to home The very fields where I once roam And under trees the leaves have pile And changed the very face of smile Time has put a twist in store That changed the thoughts of evermore Turned the leaves into decay Within the process of delay And took the thoughts that once were you And changed them into memories coup Placing quicksand in the pile That turns to acid in a while So if you have a memory store Water them forevermore |

See More: This sounds a bit like a "dream within a dream"... "...if hope has flown away In a night, or in a day, In a vision, or in none, Is it therefore the less gone? All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream." (Edgar Allan Poe 1827) A good poem, I am glad I openend it this morning... ___________ice ><> |

A lovely read this sunny crisp morn Sy. I have a memory bank where all the good dreams go.. and the bad ones? They get deleted. Poof! ~Morning hugs, and a spot of tea, Nancy~ In the midst of winter, |

My memories are stored in a place that only wih some proding of others, can be located. But, I will try and keep them watered! huggles. Morning tea? Marti A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows. |

No, we musn't leave things to wither and die...we must keep them watered, and dig deep, deep wells... Good morning Sy... |
