A FLAW IN THE DESIGN? The Sun up in the Sky That shines so warm and bright The Moon and twinkling Stars That glow in the dark of Night. This Earth so filled with Life From blade of Grass to Man All of those little things Which are part of the Great Plan. There’s some Master Architect Who planned so carefully Who made all those things that are And all of those yet to be. He had it laid out perfect With each thing in it’s place And He left us in control His pride, the Human Race. Now, the Sun up in the Sky Dimmed by a smoky haze We are using up the Ozone And letting in some deadly rays. Some of the Life here on Earth Gone, made extinct by Man As We wreak our havoc Upon that Master Plan. Seems the Planner in His Wisdom Did not foresee it all He didn’t realize Mankind Would cause His own downfall. He thought He had it perfect With each thing in it’s place But then, He left us in control His pride, the Human Race. Del "Abe" Jones |
