*** excuse the damn in the headline ***

I typed you out in the dead of night.  Then I clicked the submit button and then I said....

Why can I never do it right, why can't be on paper.

and when will it stop... how come I didn't forsee the error.

This poem is disconnected, between my rampant screams.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I typed you because it was just right,
didn't have a pen or paper, why am I so lazy.
its just across the room.

Now its gone in the morning light (not really it  just sounded good)

and It probably ain't coming back. I don't know why but the back button sucks. when the poems you write disappear in an Instant.

I think I need to relax now, and stop with this annoying rant. GRR, time for bed now. Maybe it will be here in the morning. Hopefully.

A brilliant allegory on the human condition.  Kudos!

(just kidding, Kellie---maybe start using a word processor to write your poetry and then post once it's polished and ready to go)

It's like my "heaven" theory....

When we die,,,there are no harps and halos,,,,,we just get allll the stuff back we ever lost,,,,ie. 9, 345 pairs of shades, 243,612 pens/pencils...assorted socks,,,etc....

Now we can add all the writings that the net has sucked up,,,,and we can sit and laugh at ourselves, as to how frazzled we had gotten over them in the first place,,,,

I know this feeling all to well but for me
it was my book that I had overwrote.

By force of habit, monks can rest in peace
I open notepad or word
And to them enscribe my feast

We lose too much these days because everyone had deadlines and guidelines and telephone lines and you now more often than not - get caught in your prime and the gospel of those brilliant words is lost, from whatever source

I saved this before I hit send.

Refreshing and humorous write for those of us that have lost honest-to-goodness great poetry to the abyss of modern technology gone loco.  I enjoyed it because I've been there.  You have real talent and are a jewel to read.  It must have been a loss for us all.

Warmest regards and best wishes for future "saves",

Kevin

PS.  And where is El Dorado Hills, CA?  Is that near Anaheim Hills?
