A FOX IN THE WHITE HOUSE?? We let them cross our borders By air and land and sea While we pay for all those benefits All those illegals get for free. Even when we catch them And we pay to ship them back For every one there are two To cross, take up the slack. There’s nothing wrong with legals Who come to work in the fields And earn a little extra money That the American way yields. But seems our President Lived in Texas far too long Because those Texas ranchers Don’t see anything wrong. Been the same for generations But, used to be under control Though now millions cross the line And hardly any pay the toll. It not only hurts our Country But those too, within the law Who do it right and work hard Now, the worst they ever saw. If we don’t put a stop to it Letting them in, sending jobs out The rest the World will have it all While we Americans go without. The "New World Order" Some in Power want to see The death knell for Freedom Is what the new order will be. There’s some who will benefit But, won’t be anyone we know You best look to see it Coming Before you look and see it Go. Governments and Politicians Around the World play the game To turn it to “us” and “them” To keep the poor just the same. While cheap labor rushes in American jobs are our out source Just wait and watch and you’ll see As our own ruin runs it’s course. America, home of the Free As we give all of it away Support the World, except ourselves For that’s the American Way. (Not to mention the terrorists) 03-28-2005 Del "Abe" Jones Mankind's greatest accomplishment is not the revolution of technology, it is the evolution of creativity. |

Excellent write and great commentary on the outsourcing of jobs and the weak borders. Something needs to change or eventually there won't be anything left in America to be had by anyone. And you made that statement poetical much better. Shenachie |

Abe, I fully agree. And who the heck am I? A Miami liberal... this issue unites many people from diverse backgrounds. The politics stink. It would be fascinating if you were to make a poem of this quality about, say, -what would happen to our Walmart-cheap standard of living if, suddenly, our China trade were cut off by some political or global disaster. We live so high off the hog.. hogs now, we Americans... living off the cheap labor of other nations. We make nothing anymore but information. thanks for the great political poem. sage stuff, sir. |

Nice writing...I believe all of our employment needs could be met through the efforts of an orderly work program...as long as an employer has a job opening and waits a decent amount of time to fill the job...I see nothing wrong with offering the job to a resident of Mexico...as long as they enter legally and depart when the employment is terminated...I don't think any other country just lets people cross their borders or should I say invade our borders like the U.S....we need some Presidential leadership...we do have a legal way to enter this country in place, but many illegals have no desire to honor the laws of our land and our leaders are half-hearted in enforcing our laws...they say a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways...reminding me that I have to write to the President and my Congressmen again...ASAP...James |
