The like of February falls tumbling in an August toss and turn In the peace of silent winter sleep, the fire inside bathes ceaseless burn Fumbling autumn airs call mind to stir, setting coals alight, in judicious cure Awaken summer nights; awaken to these fair delights, still damp in spring’s discreet allure Falls softly snow on petals pink, the frosting cool a June bug wink Subzero rules apply no pain, this silence sane that melts by blink Feet set to ground move gravity without a sound in temperate round Unsure the wail, a cobalt wind or nightingale, in jungle heat the beat unwound And sweeter comes the sunrise now, to overlook an icy bow and low bent song That comfort clad admires in plaid and plenty colored pick, a daisy droop in lemon long Be still, another warming climb is just a state of mind lost in the mid of night And all that matters still the snows have paused and passed along in dawning light A few degrees of hemisphere, the shift of time might draw the tear of moments now becoming clear And far too soon to bloom…yet waken spring, around the warming scent and sound that called me here Copyright Kkh 02/16/05 |

I'm so glad I found this! You've grabbed my love for science and given it a spin! I could list all the wonderful lines, but I'm afraid I'd be copying your entire poem! another to the library! Thanks. miscellanea |
