Airports today are the bus terminals, train stations, harbors, the caravan assembly points and crossroads, of generations gone ahead, the stepping off points to awareness challenge or surrender, the doorways to scrapbooks not yet built that one day will startle emotional archaeologists, amateurs sifting for treasure amongst the detritus of dead strangers friends and relatives no longer recognized; they are the gates to waiting futures already lined with joy acceptance or despair, where walkways end in understanding tears of life or death, or stories to be continued. ©2005 by icebox |

icebox Airports and the like, are great places to people watch and to think. I enjoyed your thoughts here, as always. |
