I don't think of you now
except those times
when I am buying gas
or at the dentist
or sliding down the street
without my jeans on
face down
over the chuckholes
with glass and gravel
and ants and snakes

just kidding hon
I think of you all the time
when doing good things
like burping
and scratching between my legs
and sliding the cover
over my new driver
they stare at me then
how I seem to enjoy that

and when I am with the dog
and we are in the park
smelling trees
and lifting our legs
he is jealous
cause I know to drink
more beer
to keep ahead of him
but he can lick
where I can't

and dang I miss you then
