Oh,
you feline.
Do you know
how much I
hate you?

More than the hottest fires burn,
my fury is not weak to water.
My rage knows you well.
It brings me to tears.

You once noticed
you couldn't lie to me,
so for years you didn't
speak at all.

Your words sat on the web
uneaten..

I did not miss them,
I did not yearn for them,
relishing the silence.

But your
claws have yet
to retract
so I am left

with nothing but pain.

Bad kitty,
Condemn them not all
For few of any species are purrrrrfect,

LOL... I can't help but laugh at the comments... for I AM a cat person... love those furry lil critters bunches. *G*

But... your poem has many levels... and I think we've all met THOSE cats... and bled from the encounter. *S* Excellent write!!
