You sit there in your silent room And contemplate the end. Think about the things you've missed- And things that might have been. The dreams which once kept you alive, Are fading day by day... You wonder what you'll hold onto, When the dreams all die away. I wish I had the answer... To the questions in your mind. For fate is quite a trickster- And quite often is unkind. Through cyberspace' phenomena- At least our lives have touched... Perhaps but for a moment, But let's treasure it as such. For life and all it's vagaries, May not be wrong, or right... But may be mere coincidence- Like ships which pass by night. We see each other distantly... Yet we abide alone... The lights are quickly fading, And before too long are gone. |

John, Always it is good to read the cowboy! Thank you sir. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

"For fate is quite a trickster- And quite often is unkind..." How true and how beautifully expressed in "Desperado" style....~~~P |
