Keep Me Promise Curled words penned in womanship lines Are as dear to me as anything Tacketta-tacketta’d to keys dancing Across blues grays brownly greening mirrored eyes That stare my own thoughts Back to retinas willing to hold… And yet, even that form shapes a bond And if I missed a comma, never mind Though meaning changes for want of, But I have missed my periods, too And the life they gave back then. Nothing new, she says, nothing new in the way of What, As if a tomorrow would go on without, All the while she feels shallow, Knowing others know depths she hasn’t plunged into, Just yet. Who knows, they say, what tomorrow will bring? Appointments, for some, spaces of drawn out Lingering for others, and most of all, Some regret at choices made, for the very few Who have time to think Of such things. But oh the joy in choices good. Some say, whisper prayer, some plead Think of me; some, even, say nothing at all, Knowing that them that know, know… Keep me promise. For want of a comma keep me promise. ~*~ For those that know Adversity. |

Ah, this is most kind in its offering and beauty - much enjoyed - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

"But oh the joy in choices good. Some say, whisper prayer, some plead Think of me; some, even, say nothing at all, Knowing that them that know, know… Keep me promise. For want of a comma keep me promise." Yes...beautiful! Hugs YOU! Now while the leaves still dance on the wind |
