Would Words Strike A Chord

You're out there somewhere
Yet the only place I can find
Was in my constant thoughts
Here forever upon my mind

Your letters kept me hoping
I read them a million times
Yet since you became silent
I wrote missing you rhymes

To the one that inspired me
I have missed you so much
Wherever you might be now
I'm longing to keep in touch

Hoping to break the silence
In a passionate plea to you
Would words strike a chord
I am always hopeful they do

I would have to say YES they DO!! I think this is an excellent way to break the silence and now let's hope the recipient can hear the words in their heart.
