Summertime, The moon seems to join with her brother hand in hand giving warmth to the cold changing dreams into fields so beautifully grown where flowers grow wild untouched by temptation. My screams become echoes in this tomb of beauties buried alive with solitude scratching underneath my skin eating fruits of sorrow in the now rotting world as sunlight burns my face leaving scars upon my soul. Memories leak through the seams and dreams melt away remembering the days I smiled nowadays I cry underneath the rocks my hopes so frail crumble with each tear leaving me afraid inside And when my death shall stain the world and papers always lie they’ll shall I lived a life so well so why did I have to die. |
