Perhaps, someday
a blessing of tender touch
will once again    caress
this tear stained cheek.

Perhaps, someday
when gentle rains fall
this sting of salt
in open wounds
will be washed away

leaving no tracks
       or trace
to trail behind.

Perhaps, someday
the road of
love and truth
will rise to greet me

allowing escape
from pain and fears
and the sun finally shining
will dry up all the tears.

Perhaps, someday
it will be more than   just a dream

Perhaps, someday
I will again believe.

{She didn't cry
she didn't shout,
I was blind but I see now
she was breaking from the
inside out. T. Lawrence}

Donna,

think of how many times you have seen that light . . . then disappearing, only to find it's gentle way right back to your windowsill.

"For every time there is a season"
(though I struggle that all of this has reason)

Enjoyed what is basically a hopeful write.

oh, this show cases what a delicate thing love is, how it must be cared for or it leaves...and how hope for it never dies...
you will you know? love again that is... I have faith
